The Antonio Puerta Memorial Player of the Month Award: October

What a crappy end to what was actually a very good month for the club. October, of course, was mostly broken up by the international break, but Sevilla still got in six matches, winning four and losing two. The matches (complete with links to match comments or post-match (as available) posts to refresh your memory):

Oct 3: LL6 Sevilla 3 – 1 Atlético (Negredo, Perotti, Kanouté)

Oct 17: LL7 Sporting Gijon 2 – 0 Sevilla

Oct 21: EL3 Karpaty Lviv 0 – 1 Sevilla (Kanouté)

Oct 24: LL8 Sevilla 4 – 3 Athletic Bilbao (Fabiano (2), Kanouté (2))

Oct 27: CdR Ro32 L1 R. Unión 0 – 4 Sevilla (Negredo (2), Alfaro, Jose Carlos)

Oct 31: LL9 Barcelona 5 – 0 Sevilla

Overall not a bad run of results, really. And lots of cause for optimism in the future. And probably very important results over Atlético, Athletic, and Karpaty. And given the concerns we had about our offense in September, plenty of goalscoring from our forwards while playing without Navas. So what do you think–who’s been the best in rojiblanco this month?
