After Thursday’s disappointing tie to Estoril, a little bit of our Liga/post-derby buzz was lost. We should’ve put that game away, and it has now put the team under more stress than we needed, a team that again is suffering with multiple injury absences and heavy international duties.
Anyway, I don’t have time for much of a preview, but my understanding is that Granada is playing reasonably well. And just because we broke our away Liga winless curse last week against Espanyol, that does not mean that we are a good away team. Is it too much to dream that after a record setting streak of 13 months without an away win, that we could somehow manage to get two in a row?
Not sure I’m going to be able to watch, so I look forward to going back through all your comments. Vitolo hurt is a bummer given his recent form. Anyone know why Perotti is not playing?
Here’s the team: Beto, Javi Varas, Diogo Figueiras, Coke, Cala, Fazio, Carriço, Fernando Navarro, Alberto Moreno, Mbia, Iborra, Cristóforo, Rakitic, Reyes, Jairo, Rabello, Gameiro y Bacca.
