We’ve done a lot of the hard work recently. And thanks to Barcelona’s unconvincing 2-0 win over Valencia we have a chance to go even on points for 4th place if we can handle business tomorrow. With all of our hard fought recent results it would be catastrophic to slip up on a match we truly should win.
But just because we should win, doesn’t mean it will be easy. Granada has played well at times this season, its an away game for us, and Granada is fighting for their La Liga survival. If they get the first goal and start to believe, it could be a long day. If we can jump out early and be aggressive, we can make it a lot more comfortable.
Team rotation will be interesting. A lot will probably depend what Emery wants to do in St. Petersburg next Thursday. Would he prefer to start Bacca in that match following on his great showing at the end of last game? Will he want to start Mbia? And Suarez?
Whoever he chooses. All three points are essential.
Team list: Beto, Sergio Rico, Coke, Diogo, Fernando Navarro, Nico Pareja, Alejandro Arribas, Kolo, Mbia, Krychowiak, Éver Banega, Reyes, Vitolo, Aleix Vidal, Denis Suárez, Gameiro, Iago Aspas, and Bacca.
